Travel Dates: June 21- 27, 2024
Join us in Colombia for an unforgettable adventure! We will take you to the vibrant city of Cartagena, where you can immerse yourself in Afro-Colombian culture and explore the walled Old Town with its charming cobblestone streets, colorful colonial buildings and lively squares. Day 1

FRIDAY, JUNE 21
WELCOME TO COLOMBIA

  • Arrive at Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG)

  • Gather luggage, meet up with group and private driver that will take you to your accommodations

  • Get settled in your rooms and get ready for a night of authentic dinner and dancing

Day 2

 
SATURDAY, JUNE 22
EXPLORE CARTAGENA

  • Breakfast at the hotel

  • Visit the smallest volcano in Colombia for a day of bathing and relaxing in the natural mud

  • Rinse off in a peaceful lake area nearby, then replenish with a typical Colombia meal. 

  • Evening free time and dinner on your own

Day 3

SUNDAY, JUNE 23
YACHT ISLAND HOP
 

  • Head to the dock to take in the view from the sea

  • Pull up to the party island for music, water sports and refreshing coconut & pinapple drinks 

  • Hop over to a beach club for lunch & relaxation

  • Catch the incredible sunset on the way back to the city

  • The rest of the evening is at your leisure

Day 4

MONDAY, JUNE 24

FREE DAY

  • Roam the streets and taste the treats. Hit markets and bargain for the best art and souvenir deals

Day 5

TUESDAY, JUNE 25

IMMERSE IN CULTURE

  • After breakfast at the hotel, head out on your ​Private Palenque Afro-Colombian Tour

  • If you want to dig beneath the tourist sites and really learn about the culture and history of Colombia, this 'Freedom Tour' of San Basilio de Palenque is ideal. With a knowledgeable local tour guide you'll visit a variety of places that demonstrate how the distinct African culture has been maintained for centuries. Learn about traditional music and dance, folk medicine, and Palenque's unique language.

  • A Palenquero lunch and beverage will be provided

  • Dinner on your own

Day 6

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

GET THE SHOT

  • After breakfast at the hotel, head out for a Photo shoot around the city center to commemorate your time in Colombia. 

  • Free time until evening rooftop themed farewell dinner

  • Book a spa appointment, relax by the pool or take a stroll through old town to soak in the last bit of Colombia before airport departure
